Our History & Heart
Animals have been a way of life for us for as long as we can remember. Long before raising dogs, our days were defined by proper animal husbandry—caring for everything from chickens and goats to rabbits. When we acquired our farm in 2017, that lifelong passion fully took root as we built a thriving, hands-on homestead.
Yet, alongside the daily rhythm of farm life, there was always a quieter, long-cherished dream waiting in the wings: to build a small, highly selective breeding program dedicated to registered, purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis.
That dream became a reality in 2023 when we welcomed our very first foundation female to the farm. Stepping into the world of Corgis has been an extraordinary journey. Bringing our decades of livestock experience into dog breeding meant doing things right from day one—focusing on exceptional health, loyal temperaments, and the sturdy, joyful spirit that makes Pembrokes so special.
Today, our small program is anchored by our two incredible females: Magnolia O’Wigglebottom and Hazelnut Squashbottom. They aren't just the heart of our line; they are beloved members of our farm family who spend their days supervising farm chores and keeping us smiling.
With three successful litters behind us, we continue to keep our program intentionally small, focused, and hands-on. As we look to the future—and contemplate thoughtfully keeping or introducing a third female down the road—our commitment remains the same: raising healthy, beautifully socialized Corgis that bring as much light to your home as ours bring to our farm.
